About Me
I am a biomedical scientist, cancer immunologist, and research manager with more than 15 years of experience in translational oncology.
My career began at the bench—studying how the immune system interacts with cancer and how these insights can be translated into better therapies. I completed my PhD in biological sciences and spent nearly a decade at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, where I worked both as a researcher and as a scientific manager within a large tumor immunotherapy program.
Over time, my role evolved beyond experimental research. I became deeply involved in shaping large-scale grant programs, coordinating multi-institutional collaborations, supporting translational initiatives, and helping investigators communicate complex science with clarity and strategic focus.
I discovered that my strength lies not only in understanding science—but in structuring it, refining it, and positioning it for impact.
After relocating from Canada to Germany with my family, I chose to transition into independent consulting. This entrepreneurial step allows me to combine scientific depth with flexibility, while partnering with researchers, clinicians, and organizations across borders.
Today, I provide scientific and medical writing, research project coordination, and strategic science communication services—specializing in oncology, immunology, and translational medicine.
What sets my work apart is perspective. I understand research at multiple levels: as a scientist, grant manager, program coordinator, and communicator bridging science and real-world understanding.
I know how complex research ecosystems function—how funding decisions are made, how collaborations succeed, and how scientific ideas must be articulated to move from concept to impact.
Whether developing a competitive grant proposal, coordinating a multidisciplinary research program, or translating medical research for broader audiences, my focus is always on clarity, precision, and meaningful progress.
